Molecular pathology plays a fundamental role in oncology today.
With advanced diagnostic techniques such as genomic sequencing and biomarker analysis, molecular pathology enables the identification of therapeutic targets and prognostic markers in an increasing number of cases. Furthermore, the recognition of specific molecular alterations creates opportunities for the development of new medications and treatments, aligning withcurrent trends in research and innovation in the fight against cancer. The International Symposium on Molecular Pathology emerges in this context, responding to the growing demand for qualified professionals to perform molecular testing and interpret its results. It offers a rare opportunity for professionals involved in oncology diagnostics to update their knowledge.
AIPM- Asociación Iberoamericana de Patología Molecular. AIPM is an association created to encourage and promote interest, research, exchange and dissemination of knowledge related to Molecular Pathology in countries where portuguese and Spanish are the main language. The goal is to organize academic/scientific meetings, workshops and tutorials. Promote the establishment of a scientific exchange society through the creation of international research groups in favor of the development of Molecular Pathology.
